NOt just 2 holes but 7! I'm amazed. The best part is that he put nuts on the inside and still it never occurred to him that something had gone awry from the planned course of execution.
I've heard of this before. Someone once reported he let a friend do a fender eliminator and got his bike back with holes through the ECU. That's totally unnecessary on the 14, there are holes all over under there for license plates brackets.

Just yesterday I punctured a customer's radiant floor heating while making a repair to there hardwood floors. Although the pipe repair only set me back $65.00 I've been beating myself up for my stupidity...but all of a sudden I feel much better about myself. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Sounds like the poor guy went to any one of my old Australian mechanics.
All as useless as each other.
Although I have to admit that is another level of useless!
I really hope he got it all sorted by the offending party...
